Bio

I am a Ph.D. in Statistics that currently work as Associate Professor of the Department of Population Health Science and Policy at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York.

As a member of the Biostatistics and Clinical Informatics Core at the Tisch Cancer Center, my main role is collaborative providing statistical support to investigators designing studies and writing grant proposals to obtain federal funding. Based on my strong theoretical foundation in statistics, I am able to bridge statistical methods to applications in biological sciences.

Moreover, interacting with investigators gives me opportunities to develop statistical methods and R-packages for applied statisticians. My main interests of research are Bayesian inference and design of clinical trials. I have researched operating characteristics of clinical trial designs through simulation studies, provided guidelines to apply them and proposed some extensions to improve their performance.
